IMD World Competitiveness Ranking
The IMD World Competitiveness Ranking, compiled each year by the IMD business school's World Competitiveness Center in Switzerland, ranks economies on how well they create and sustain an environment in which businesses can compete. It combines statistical hard data with an executive opinion survey across four factors: economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure. Rank 1 is the most competitive economy, and the number of economies covered changes from year to year.
