Ranks passports by how many destinations they reach without a prior visa. It is updated through the year rather than annually, so two correct-looking figures months apart will disagree — every value here carries the date it was read.

CONTESTED. Henley updates through the year and outlets report different snapshots as if annual: 80th with 55 destinations in January 2026, 75th with 56 in February after The Gambia was restored, with 78th and 81st also reported during the year. All start from 85th in 2025, so the direction of travel is clear even where the level is not. Every figure here is dated for that reason.
